MILTON, Ont. -- Load Surfer has partnered with factoring firm JD Factors to provide a unique guarantee on certain loads posted in the Load Surfer system.

In addition to being the lead factor on loadsurfer.com, the new alliance also means the addition of the “JD Guarantee” feature to Load Surfer.

A green ‘money bag’ icon appearing beside a load on the Load Surfer system indicates that clients factoring their invoices through JD Factors can take the load knowing that the load is factorable.

As a non-recourse factor, JD Factors also assumes the credit risk on these loads. Although the JD Guarantee is not a credit guarantee, the new tool gives Load Surfer members another powerful decision making tool, says the companies. For brokers, the JD Guarantee can also provide greater visibility and better access to carriers in the community.

Load Surfer CEO Roy Thacker explains that this new partnership is the direct result of feedback from members who feel that credit concerns have taken a front seat in their daily business transactions.

“Credit concerns are by far the biggest current concern in trucking, the JD Guarantee will benefit not only those customers who are factoring with J D but all of our members when they are trying to make the decision about whether or not to work with a particular broker,” he adds. “The purpose of the JD Guarantee icon is to give Loadsurfer customers the added peace of mind that they will get paid at the end of the day.”
